∙ 12y agoThis looks like a test or homework question. Distance is square root of [(change in x)2 + (change in y)2 ] = sqrt((-3 - -1)2 + (1 - 5)2) = sqrt((-2)2 + (-4)2) = sqrt(20), rounded to nearest hundredth is 4.47
It's pretty much the exact same. Subtracting is the same as adding a negative number. Foe example, five minus three is the same as five plus negative three.
