Lets say there are 3 isotopes of an element. A is 25% and has a mass of 24, B is 40% and has a mass of 25, and C is 35% and has a mass of 26.

Multiply the mass by the percentage in decimal form and add all together.

(.25 x 24) + (.40 x 25) + (.35 x 26) = weighted average.

If there are more then continue (percent in decimal form x mass) and keep adding.
