Miles can't be expressed in minutes. If it could, then you'd be able to figure out how many minutes high your house is, and how many miles of sleep you had last night.
With many thanks to another WA contributor who put his words to my thoughts.
You cannot convert distance to time
To convert miles to minutes, we need to know the speed at which the distance is covered. If we assume an average walking speed of 3 miles per hour, which is equivalent to 1 mile every 20 minutes, then 0.48 miles would take 9.6 minutes to walk. This calculation is based on the formula: time = distance / speed.
Speed (in miles/hour) = distance (miles) / time (hours= 75/ (120/60) = 37.5 miles/hour
Divide 78/72 to give miles per minute. Then multiply by 60 to give miles per 60 minutes or miles per hour. 78 miles in 72 minutes = 65 mph.
To find the time it takes to travel 0.3 miles at a speed of 25 mph, you can use the formula: time = distance/speed. Converting 0.3 miles to hours at 25 mph gives you 0.3 miles ÷ 25 mph = 0.012 hours. Converting this to minutes (by multiplying by 60) results in approximately 0.73 minutes, or about 44 seconds.
You cannot convert distance to time
To calculate the time it takes to travel 110 miles, you need to know your speed. For example, if you drive at 60 miles per hour, it would take about 110 minutes (or 1 hour and 50 minutes) to cover that distance. If you're traveling at a different speed, you can use the formula: time = distance/speed to find the time in minutes.
In 18 minutes, you can travel 15 miles. To find out how many miles you can travel in 54 minutes, you would divide 54 by 18 to get 3 (54/18=3), then multiply 15 miles by 3 to get 45 miles in 54 minutes.
It depends on the speed of the vehicle as well as the miles driven. At 60 miles per hour (or a mile a minute), it would take 19 minutes. At 30 miles per hour, driving 19 miles would take 38 minutes. In this case, the formula would be: time = speed in minutes X miles driven.
To calculate the driving time for 37.7 miles, you need to know your average speed. For example, if you're driving at 60 miles per hour, it would take approximately 37.7 minutes. If you're driving at a different speed, you can use the formula: time (minutes) = distance (miles) ÷ speed (miles per hour) × 60. Adjust the speed accordingly to find the driving time for your specific situation.
To find out how long it takes to drive 28 miles at a speed of 60 miles per hour, you can use the formula: time = distance ÷ speed. So, 28 miles ÷ 60 miles per hour equals approximately 0.47 hours. Converting this to minutes, it takes about 28 minutes to travel that distance at that speed.
1.2 hours, or 72 minutes. The formula for this is simple: Divide the speed into the miles.
To find the time it takes to drive 2.5 miles at a speed of 15 miles per hour, you can use the formula: time = distance ÷ speed. Plugging in the values, it would take 2.5 miles ÷ 15 miles per hour, which equals 0.1667 hours. Converting this to minutes, it takes approximately 10 minutes to drive that distance at that speed.
To determine the number of minutes it takes to travel 22 miles, we need to know the speed at which the distance is covered. If we assume a constant speed of 60 miles per hour, it would take approximately 22 minutes to travel 22 miles. This calculation is based on the formula time = distance ÷ speed.
The formula isTime (in hours) = Distance (in miles) / Speed (miles per hour)so,Time (in hours) = 30 / 60therefore,Time = 0.5 hours or 30 minutes
