There is no highest common multiple - for whatever value you come up with, I can always add the lowest common multiple and get another, even higher common multiple.

There is the:

  • ``highest common factor'' (hcf) which is the highest whole number that divides exactly into two or more numbers; and
  • ``lowest common multiple'' (lcm) which is the smallest whole number into which two or more numbers all divide exactly.

By itself 121827 cannot have a common anything as that requires two or more numbers; however, I suspect that there are spaces missing and your list of numbers is actually {12, 18, 27}, giving

  • hcf(12, 18, 27) = 3
  • lcm(12, 18, 27) = 108
