When a number is divided by 36 and leaves no remainder.
36 inches = 1 yard so 180 inches = 180/36 = 5 yards. Simple!36 inches = 1 yard so 180 inches = 180/36 = 5 yards. Simple!36 inches = 1 yard so 180 inches = 180/36 = 5 yards. Simple!36 inches = 1 yard so 180 inches = 180/36 = 5 yards. Simple!

it is quite easy actually... 30, 36 divided by a random number (in this case I use number 6 as it can divide both numbers without leaving any decimals) =5, 6 as 5, 6 cannot be divided any further by any same number, you multiply the remaining number (5 & 6) with the number you used to divide 30 & 36 6x5x6= 180 Check: 180/36= 5 180/30= 6 multiple of 36: 36, 72, 108, 144, 180... multiple of 30: 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180... So, the lowest common multiple of 30 and 36 is 180.
The square numbers that divide exactly into 180 are as follows :- 1² (x 180) = 180 2² (x 45) = 180 3² (x 20) = 180 6² (x 5) = 180. . . . . so 36 being 6² is the largest square number. However, this result can be obtained from the prime factors of 180 which are :- 2² x 5 x 3² . . . . . . the squared numbers are 2 & 3. So 2x3 = 6 is the largest number that when squared, becoming equal to 36, divides exactly into 180.
400. you do 180 times 80 divided by 36 (number of inches in a yard).
The least common multiple of 9, 36, and 60 is the smallest number that can be divided by each of the three numbers without a remainder. In this case, the answer is 180. (180/60 = 3, 180/36 = 5, and 180/9 = 20)

180 divided by 100 then times 20 is 36.
9. it is the largest number that all of them may be divided by.
The lowest common multiple is the smallest number that each number is a factor of. So in this case it would be 180. 36x5=180 15x12=180 6x30=180 One of my preffered methods of working it out is taking the largest number and finding the lowest multiple of it that the others are a factor of also.
The largest number that will evenly divide all three is 6:36 / 6 = 642 / 6 = 7126 / 6 = 21
