A circle is the set of all points in a plane that are equidistant from a given point, called the center.
An angle sum is the sum (in degrees) of the particular angles you are measuring.
Because by definition, there sum will always be zero. Because the definition of opposites are additive inverses.
The sum.

A circle is the set of all points in a plane that are equidistant from a given point, called the center.
A sum just means adding things up.
An angle sum is the sum (in degrees) of the particular angles you are measuring.
A check sum is a clever way of detecting whether an error has occured in a byte of data. A mathematic process is applied to a block of data. The answer gives another number, which is sent with the data. When the data is received the same mathematic process is done on the code and compared with the check sum (the answer sent with the data). If the two are equal then the code is OK. If they are not the same, then depending on the value of the checksum, the missing data can be calculated and repaired. The data could be requested to be sent again.
Because by definition, there sum will always be zero. Because the definition of opposites are additive inverses.
By definition, they must sum to 90 degrees.
The sum.
By definition, the sum must be unity.

By definition it cannot be ...A decimal numberAn irrational numberA non-counting numberAn imaginary number (not a joke, this is actually a mathematic term!).
the average, the sum
It is a rational number.
