Both are the names of scientists. They represent different scales of temperature. Fahrenheit has freezing of water or melting of ice to be at 32o and the boiling point of water to be at 212o. So the gap between these two fixed points will be 180.
But in Celsius scale early named as centigrade scale, freezing point will be taken to be at 0o and boiling point at 100o. So the gap will be having 100 equal divisions. So the equivalence of one division right from F to C will be 100/180 ie 5/9. So when we convert F into Celsius first we have to subtract 32 right from the F data then multiply by 5/9. It will be in C.
For example. -40o F.
First subtract 32 right from this. We get -72.
Now multiply by 5/9 we get -40
Vow, both F and C would coincide at -40o. Fantastic!
Now to convert C into F, first divide by 5/9 ie multiply by 9/5 and add 32 with that got.
Example: 15o C
Multiply by 9/5 we get 27.
Add 32 along with this we get 59o F.

∙ 13y agoThe formula to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit is:(Celsius x 1.8) + 32 = Fahrenheit
(Celsius x 1.8)+32= Fahrenheit (Fahrenheit-32)/1.8= Celsius
Fahrenheit = (Celsius * 1.8) + 32 Celsius = (Fahrenheit - 32) / 1.8
400 Fahrenheit = 204.4 Celsius 400 Celsius = 752 Fahrenheit
108 Fahrenheit is 42.2 Celsius
To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit: multiply by 9, divide by 5, and then add 32. Example: 20°C is equivalent to 68°F. To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius: subtract 32, multiply by 5, and then divide by 9. Example: 68°F is equivalent to 20°C.
The formula to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit is:(Celsius x 1.8) + 32 = Fahrenheit
185 degrees Fahrenheit is equivalent to 85 degrees Celsius. To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius, you can use the formula: Celsius = (Fahrenheit - 32) / 1.8.
(Celsius x 1.8)+32= Fahrenheit (Fahrenheit-32)/1.8= Celsius
400 Fahrenheit = 204.4 Celsius 400 Celsius = 752 Fahrenheit
Fahrenheit = (Celsius * 1.8) + 32 Celsius = (Fahrenheit - 32) / 1.8
Fahrenheit is a measurement of temperature. Measurements are not calculated but measured. It is possible to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit using the following formula: oF = oC x 9/5 +32 To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius oC = (oF - 32) x 5/9
Anders Celsius created the Celsius scale in 1742, and Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit developed the Fahrenheit scale in 1724.
147 degrees Fahrenheit is approximately 64 degrees Celsius. You can convert Fahrenheit to Celsius by subtracting 32 from the Fahrenheit temperature and then multiplying by 5/9.
108 Fahrenheit is 42.2 Celsius
98.6 degrees in Fahrenheit 37 degrees in Celsius
78.5 degrees Fahrenheit = 25.83 degrees Celsius
