A = 36 mi2, h = 12 mi, b = ? mi
A = (bh)/2, multiply by 2 to both sides
2A = bh, divide by h to both sides
(2A)/h = b, substitute A and h respectively with 36 and 12
(2*36 mi2)/(12 mi) = b, simplify
b = 6 mi
6 mi
96sq.mi
12 mi x 6 mi = 72 mi2
It depends on the type of triathlon you are doing. The sprint distance is 20k(12mi) the Olympic distance is 40k(25mi) the Half Ironman is 90k(56mi) and the Ironman is 180k(112mi)
THAT IS TERRIBLE! That car should get mid to upper 20s, Did you get it from the same dealer that told you it was OK? I would take it to another dealer, 87octane is just fine for it. Look for dammage under hood, wreck? fire? water/flood? lose nut with wrench? Then check exhaust for stoppage, Is check engine light on? Replace fuel filter, Make sure no-one left A wrag in the plastic intake duct? GOOD LUCK, Jamison
When rounding to a specific place, take a look at the digit immediately to the right of the target, in this case, the tenths place. If that digit is 4 or less, zero everything to the right of the target out. If that digit is 5 through 9, increase the target by one and zero everything to the right of it out. If the target is a 9, increasing it will turn it to zero and increase the digit to the left of the target by one.
