That's the same as rounding to the greatest place. Sometimes it is advantageous to express a value in round numbers. To round to a particular place, look at the digit immediately to the right of the one you want to round to, in this case the second greatest place. If that digit is 4, 3, 2, 1 or 0, zero it and everything to the right of it out. If that digit is 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9, increase your target digit by one and zero everything to the right of it out. If your target digit is 9, it will become a zero and increase the digit to the left of it by one.
A measured number is not estimated. It is measured to the accuracy of the tool being used, though all tools have a certain tolerance and the last digit would be the least accurate.
Divide the two-digit number by the one-digit number. If the remainder is zero then the 2-digit number is a multiple and if not, it is not.
A one digit number is a number with only one number. For example: 12 is a two digit number. It has two numbers. 3 is a one digit number because it only has one number.

True
One figure accuracy is when it is rounded to the nearest 10, 100, 100.

the digits of a number that are used to express it to the required degree of accuracy, starting from the first nonzero digit.
6, if the last digit is an indicator of the level of accuracy (or rounding). If not, 5 figures.
Ah, what a lovely number you have there! In 2801.3, the digit that determines its precision is the "3" after the decimal point. That little number tells us how detailed and accurate our measurement is, adding a touch of finesse to our mathematical masterpiece. Just remember, every digit plays a special role in creating the beauty of numbers.

24 square feet is approximately 2,229 m2(Significant figures would require you to answer 2 square meters, you only have one digit of accuracy in the original data)
15. (or 1 depending on what you mean in the question)I thought it would prove difficult to answer this but it turns out there are websites which do list this many digits! One of which suggests that the 1 millionth digit of pi is 1. However, I believe it is referring to the 1 millionth digit after the decimal point. So if we include the "3" at the start of pi (before the decimal point), and we should if we are talking digits, then we would want the digit one place before this, which apparently is 5.Please note: I have looked at 2 independent sources for this answer but still can not vouch 100% for their accuracy.
