The smallest perimeter possible is if the shape is a circle of radius 1.32 metres (approx). This gives a perimeter of 8.313 metres.

If the shape is a rectangle, it will have minimum perimeter when it is a square with sides of 2.34 metres, giving a perimeter of 9.381 metres.

But it cound be a rectangle with width 0.001 metres and length of 5500 metres giving a perimeter of just over 11 KILOmetres.

The perimeter can be increased without limit.
