a calculator Let me tell you, a calculator is NOT the quick method. The quick method isn't to cheat, you use what you already know and use new information. For instance, If you or your child needs to know a new way to learn about....... fractions, you want to get fed the correct information. To you, or the child, all you know about fractions is that there is a nubmber on top of a line, and one on the botttom. Ok, that is a good start! Now you use research. Use a dictionary, call a friend, ask someone on a street, or look it up on the net! Your question would be, what are the numbers called in a fraction? The answer would be the top number is called a numerator. The numerator tells the amount of something out of something. Then the bottom number is the denominator. The denominator is the number that tells the whole number, in all. That is the best quick method and the smartest you should use! Thank you!
