A set is a collection of distinct objects, while a universal set is the set that contains all possible elements relevant to a particular discussion or context. Every set is a subset of the universal set, meaning that all elements of a set are also elements of the universal set. The concept of a universal set helps define boundaries for discussions involving sets, ensuring clarity about which elements are included or excluded.

Comparing the relationship of two data sets is needed to see which of the two sets have more life distribution. Two data sets involve the use of simple plotting and contour plots.
I was told once that the null set is the compliment to the universal set... I'm not convinced of this, however because the null set is a subset of the universal set as well. While I can't think of anything offhand that would prevent both of these statements from being true, it seems to me that they are contradictory statements.
