it depends on the shape.

a triangle could have a 180 degrees total sum of angle while a square could have 360 degrees total sum of angles.

the sum of angles of a shape depends on how many is it's sides.

a circle doesnt have a side so it doesnt have an angle.

The number of sides times 90°

What is a decagon and a polygon?

A decagon is a ten sided figure (usually a regular ten sided figure with all interior angles equal and all sides equal in length) A polygon is a closed planar figure bounded on all sides by straight lines. A polygon can have any number (greater than two) of sides.

What does an irregular polygon look like?

http://www.base2.it/img/floor.JPGAn irregular polygon is a closed planar figure which has sides that are not equal and/or angles that are not equal.

What is a closed planar figure with three or more straight sides?

Quadrilateral

What are 3 different equalateral pentagons with two interior right angles?

Planar figures

What relationship exists regarding the angles in a triangle?

The interior angles of a triangle always add up to 180°Because the interior angles always add to 180°, every angle must be less than 180°The bisectors of the three interior angles meet at a point, called the incenter, which is the center of the incircle of the triangle.Note The interior angles only add to 180° when the triangle is planar, meaning it is lying on a flat plane. If the triangle is not planar, for example if it is lying on the curved surface of a sphere, the angles do not add to 180°.

What other names are there for a parrallelogram?

parallelogram is a special kind of quadrilateral which, in turn, is a special kind of polygon and that is a closed planar figure.

What is the difference between a polyhedron and a non polyhedron?

A polyhedron is a closed figure with several (planar) sides, and all its sides are planar. A non polyhedron does not have these properties, maybe it is not closed, maybe one or more of the sides is a curved surface. In some branches of topology the sides of a polyhedron cannot intersect each other.

What are the bond angles of trigonal planar?

The bond angles are 120 degrees

Is a colsed figure with three or more sides which never curves?

If "colsed" is meant to be "closed", and if the figure is planar (flat), and if the sides of the figure do not cross, then it is a polygon. But answer to the question could include shapes such as stars (pentagrams) which are not polygons..

What are the charctersitics of a rectangle?

A closed planar figure with four right angles. This makes opposite sides parallel and of equal length and of course adjacent sides "normal" to each other ('normal' in geometry means at right angles). There is an inside and an outside. The center of gravity lies at the intersection of the diagonals and the intersection of the lines connecting opposite midpoints.

Which words describe a two-dimensional figure?

The term planar means having a two dimensional characteristic. A polygon is a planar figure.
