It has twin exhaust, 44mm carburetors, different clutch settings, higher compression and is lighter with stiffer springs in the PRS suspended F2000 chassis. The '96 has single exhaust, 40mm carburetors and is clutched for trail riding. It is considered to be a more user friendly sled than the bad boy Mach1. Late in the '96 model year the chassis design was changed to the "S" chassis with the longer travel SC suspension to give a better ride.
