Guns bought at a Banquet almost NEVER fetch the same price in the open market.
These guns are bought as tax write offs, marketing expenses, and on corporate How_much_is_a_new_Browning_12_gauge_shotgun_Ducks_Unlimited_70th_anniversary_edition_worth. The prices paid are 60% donation! Generally they are bought by big wigs with a couple beers in them and a corporate check book. It is not their money.
The open market will give you a SLIGHT premium over the same gun without the DU, NRA, Pheasant's Forever, NWTF, RMEF, etc, logo on it. The market will not pay what the guns bring at banquet auctions.
These guns come up for sale from time to time on the auction sites (which are driven by ACTUAL market prices). I would say you have a very nice gun, but it is worth about $1,000 because that is what a similar model fresh directly from Browning is worth.
Sorry to burst your bubble...
