The answer depends on the track. They are not all the same shape.
The dimensions depend on what the track is for. For example, you can travel by train from Moscow to Vladivostok and the railway track for that journey is 7826 km long.
For anything beyond 100 metres, a running track will need to go around a curve. The measurement of the track length along the curve requires knowledge of geometry.
If it's a square track then the distance is 4 x 60 = 240. If it's a regular triangular track then the distance is 3 x 60 = 180. If it's a rectangular track you have to tell us the length of the other two sides.
The distance of 45 laps depends on the length of the track. For example, if the track is a standard 400-meter track, 45 laps would be approximately 18 miles (or about 29 kilometers). To convert laps to miles, multiply the number of laps by the track length in miles.

The purpose of having a cassette adapter in you car would be that your car is an older model that has an eight-track player and does not have current equipment such as a cd player. Another reason could be is that you are an owner of a classic car that has an eight-track player and you want to keep it authentic, so you use the adapter.
