Motion implies momentum, which implies velocity. Linear implies a straight line. Accelerating implies changing velocity. And uniform implies constancy. So, when an object moves in a straight line and accelerates at a constant rate, you have uniformly accelerating linear motion.

What is non linear motion?

Linear motion is motion that occurs along a straight line, and therefor non linear motion is motion that does not. Refer to the Wikipedia article in the Related links section below.

What will the motion of the plane be if it is flying in a horizontal line?

linear motion

What is difference between oscillatory and simple harmonic motion?

Simple harmonic motion (SHM) is in one dimension whereas oscillatory motion is 2-dimensional motion that is SHM in one dimension but linear in another.Simple harmonic motion (SHM) is in one dimension whereas oscillatory motion is 2-dimensional motion that is SHM in one dimension but linear in another.Simple harmonic motion (SHM) is in one dimension whereas oscillatory motion is 2-dimensional motion that is SHM in one dimension but linear in another.Simple harmonic motion (SHM) is in one dimension whereas oscillatory motion is 2-dimensional motion that is SHM in one dimension but linear in another.

What are linear actuators used for?

A linear actuator is a motor controlling motion in a straight line. This is different from a conventional motor where motion is circular. They are most commonly used in industrial machinery, in computer disk drives and printers, and anywhere else linear motion is required.

What is a Linear Motion?

A Linear Motion Is Not Just A Mechanical Motion But The Real Meaning To Linear Is Where Something Goes From One Place To Another And Doesn't ReturnE.G.From Point A To Point B(The other 3 motions are; Reciprocating (one place to another and back), Rotary (goes round) and Oscillating Motion (goes in a straight line but curves)

What are the basic types of motion and definitions?

Linear, rotational, constant, accelerating, etc.

What is the differences between uniform motion and uniformly accelerated motion?

In uniform motion, object travel at fixed and constant speed and uniformly accelerated motion the speed of the object increases uniformly.

Why is uniform linear motion not an accelerated motion?

Uniform linear motion is not accelerated because the speed of the object remains constant and there is no change in direction. Acceleration refers to any change in speed or direction of an object, and when there is no change in these factors, the motion is considered uniform and not accelerated.

Is it true that the vertical motion of a projectile is uniformly accelerated motion?

Yes.

What is a linear motion for science?

I believe linear motion is simply straight motion because linear means straight

Is projectile motion is an example of uniformly accelerated motion in two dimensions?

Yes, projectile motion is an example of uniformly accelerated motion in two dimensions. This is because the acceleration due to gravity acts vertically downwards throughout the motion, causing the object to accelerate at a constant rate in the vertical direction while moving horizontally at a constant velocity.

What are the laws of uniformly accelerated motion?

Is uniformly accelerated motion uniform motion?

yes, acceleration is constant in uniform circular motion

Is swimming a linear motion?

No, swimming is not a linear motion. It involves a combination of linear motion (from propelling oneself forward in the water) and rotational motion (from arm and leg movements).

What is the three laws for uniformly accelerated motion?

What is uniformly accelerated motion?

It means that acceleration is constant. This meaning that velocity is varying with respect to time, we see this by this formula (v - v(initial) ) / t (Time).
