First determine the square footage occupied by the patio ... 15 x 8 = 120 sq. ft. Next determine the square footage of your bricks. They are 24 inches wide by 24 inches long ....OR 2 feet wide by 2 feet long (pretty BIG bricks !) .... 4 sq. ft. each. IF you can cut your bricks without shattering them, you would need a minimum of 120 divided by 4 = 30 bricks. If you shatter any, you might need a few extra. Note that you need to cut the bricks because each is 2 feet wide and one of your dimenstions is an odd number (15). So, you could use 7 whole bricks, and one half brick to cover the 15 feet on that side of the patio. You'd have to cut 2 bricks in half to fill the last foot down the 8 foot side. Hope this helps.

Nine. You have to snip it 8 times.

8"x8" = 0.444 sq ft thus 267.75 bricks fit into 119 sq ft. This is a purely mathematical calculation, however, if you want a practical answer you need to know the dimensions of the wall rather than just the area, for example it will take more bricks if the wall is 238 feet long and 6 inches high as you'll have a lot of cut bricks
To separate bricks that have been glued with Liquid Nails you will need Windshield Cut-Out wire. Begin pushing the wire between the bricks at one corner. Continue using the wire to separate the bricks.
A waterproofing sealant or coating is commonly used on wire-cut bricks to protect them from moisture and prevent deterioration. Silicone-based sealants or acrylic coatings are good options as they provide a protective barrier while allowing the bricks to breathe. Make sure to choose a product specifically designed for masonry surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and durability.
