The Greatest Problem in the Church Today!
1. Ignorance of the Bible
And "this" is, "Christians today don't know their Bibles." As we travel, it is surprising that people have been going to church for many years, yet it is difficult for them to understand how the Bible is compatible. That is, how God's plan of salvation is revealed in the whole story of redemption. In other words, how God's plan affects our lives. But the problem is that if we don't know the basics of the Bible, we don't know God.
2. Holy Spirit
God wants us to be at peace with him. Everything we need to know about it was revealed in the 66 books of the Bible. The Bible is often described as God "breathed." It has a major theme based on Jesus, called The Word (John chapter 1). Therefore, the way this relationship started is through the deep knowledge of Jesus which was revealed in the Bible. In fact, one of the main tasks of the Holy Spirit is to help us understand the Bible and how it points to Jesus (John chapter 14). Or to put it bluntly, as my friend says, if you don't know your Bible, you don't know Jesus. You don't read the Bible.

3. Beyond Academic.
But it is more than just learning the Bible, like memorizing John 3:16. It must be life-changing knowledge. Imagine you are in a relationship with someone. Academic knowledge of their favorite color does not mean that the relationship is rich and deep. But if you know their favorite color and buy flowers of that color, it shows depth.
The more you understand the Bible, the more you love God and others. And the result of this is a church full of power and influence. He is not a helpless mortal. He is the one who spreads the good news in his country that affects eternal life.
4. Solution
One of the solutions is preaching: he must focus on explaining the books in the Bible and what God wants us to know about them. This is often called evangelism. If someone preaches the gospel well, he must have referred to the story of the Bible that focused on Jesus. He avoids motivational "life lessons" that use Bible verses to support his ideas, instead pointing to the Bible as a way to change lives.
Another solution is to take Bible reading seriously. That is, having an interest in reading the Bible and understanding a lot about the Old Testament and the New Testament. Everything points to Jesus and what he has done for us. Like any other relationship, if you value it, you will get to know the person better and be more blessed because of it. Finally, the other part of the solution is to live this knowledge.
The Apostle Paul often talks about the joy of this relationship with Jesus (for example Philippians chapter 4). Just as individuals, who are filled with the Spirit of God (John chapter 14), experience change in their lives, so will the churches grow in their relationship with Jesus. effect change in their community.
This is the main issue; many people are not educated in the Bible which makes us weak in our relationship with Jesus. The solution is there, in your hands, the Bible: read, appreciate, learn and to create rich relationships for His glory.

Everything in the Bible is still RELEVANT FOR today.
The book of revelation is doctrinally written to seven churches that will be on the earth during the time of the great tribulation. The Church of today will not be on the earth during the time that revelation unfolds on the earth. These tribulation churches will be required to believe and express faith in different ways much of the time than the Church of today. That is why much of what Christ says when speaking to these seven churches in revelation is somewhat different than what Paul wrote to the church of today in Romans, Galatians, Ephesians, ect.
As physical churches, no. But symbolically, yes. Each one of the churches had virtues present, but also sin rampant. All churches today deal with the problems of all seven churches mentioned, some do better than others in certain areas. As saints of God, it is our duty to try to be like Christ in every way, and to support each other along that path. If done properly by all members within a church, the church will have eliminated most, if not all, of the sin within.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) takes a sympathetic approach to mental illness and suicide, and has recently begun a campaign to support individuals and families affected by such things. The Church teaches that taking your own life is generally wrong, but that a person who commits suicide may not be responsible for their actions. The Church teaches that only God can judge the individual because He knows their genetic and chemical makeup as well as their individual circumstances. If you'd like to learn more about the Church's view and teachings on suicide, please see https://www.lds.org/topics/suicide?lang=eng.
