It is a useful scheme to summarise data. It provides information on the central tendency (median) and a measure of spread (inter-quartile range). The total range is also indicated and outliers are separately identified. The location of the median within the IQR "box" provides an indication of the skewness of the data.
you could use almost any kind of graph if you label it. But i would stay away from pie graphs. I would use a box and whisker plot.
megan turn on your headlights! the snake is in the bush ^what kind of answer was that -.-
A Box and Whisker Plot.
I think line plots are used to collect a numerous of data.
As far as i can remember, a box and whisker is to sketch out the "Lower Extreme", The "Lower Quartile", The "Median", the "Upper Quartile", the "Upper Extreme" and the "Inter-Quartile Range" as well as the Range. To be honest, it is kind of useless, it just shows those above things in an easier way. Hope this helped :)

socratic method
Large cash crops such as cotton had to be grown on huge plots of land, hence, plantations. Small plots in wooded or hilly areas did not require slaves on a massive scale.
