If you want to measure it's volume, place it in a measuring cylinder containing a certain amount of water, and measure the extra units to get the volume of the object
This would be called a graduated cillender. But the ccs vary in this tool...from 100 to 1000 * * * * * A graduated CYLINDER might be a better choice!
Use a string: put your finger where the string is at the edge of the object, then use a ruler to measure the tip of the string to your finger. Or use a protractor: each degree equals 1/16 of an inch.
You would use a tool to measure the lengths of the sides or radii of the area and then use a formula to convert the lengths into an area. The tool would depend on the size of the object and the precision required. The tool could be an electron microscope, or a ruler, or a telescope and in general there would be no difference between a tool used to measure in the metric system or the imperial system. As an example of an unusual tool to measure area... in certain types of chemistry, the chemist needs to measure the area under a peak on a graph, and the traditional way of doing that is to cut the peaks out of the graph and weigh it on an analytical balance. Assuming the paper is fairly consistent in terms of density, the ratio of the weights is the same as the ratio of the areas.
If scoring tool is versatile to measure many different aspects concerned then scoring tool is a measure of ability.
The tongs.
To measure voltages and voltage drops
A balance or scale is used to measure the mass or weight of an object in the laboratory. It is important to calibrate the balance with known weights and handle materials with care to ensure accurate measurements.
linear=line....so anything to measure flat things...rulers, tape measures, ect
medicine
A caliper.
The metric unit force of an object is N ( newton). the tool used to measure the force of an object are force gauges ,torque gauges ,force testers.
It is used in a laboratory, but is not considered a laboratory tool by most people.
If you want to measure it's volume, place it in a measuring cylinder containing a certain amount of water, and measure the extra units to get the volume of the object
A yard stick or a tape measure will measure linear distances: that is lengths in one dimension only. There is no specific tool for measuring area: you need to calculate area from the linear measures using various geometric formulae.
A tool that u use to measure the mass of a object
A common tool to measure the volume of an object is a graduated cylinder. Alternatively, a beaker or measuring cup can also be used for measuring liquid volumes. For irregularly shaped objects, the displacement method can be employed by measuring the volume of water displaced when the object is submerged.
