The question is pretty open ended. A number of mathematical (and related physics) concepts would be helpful for functioning as an astronaut. Motion of objects calcualtions need Trionometry/geometry and Algebra, for sure. Differential equations govern the motion as well. Do they need to be using them in space? Perhaps not directly, but it may become inherent in their experience.

you use math almost everyday any job you do you use math.
We use 99.9 percent of math in our everyday life.
the banks use math so they can get their pay and count money
Astronauts study a variety of subjects to prepare for space missions, such as space science, engineering, physics, biology, and medicine. They also train in specialized areas like spacewalks, operating spacecraft, and conducting experiments in microgravity. Additionally, astronauts often engage in research while in space, focusing on areas like the effects of space travel on the human body, Earth observation, and material science.

Whatsimple and compound machines do astronauts use?
As there is no air , it is difficult , but astronauts use radios.
Astronauts use DC electric power produced by fuel cells.
Astronauts use a variety of specialized equipment in space, such as spacesuits for extravehicular activities, helmets for protection, communication systems for staying in touch with mission control, and tools to carry out experiments or repairs on the spacecraft. They also have access to exercise equipment to maintain their physical health and well-being while in microgravity.
astronauts use space pen because as there is 0gravity in space ink will not fall on the paper
