There are precise ways and rough-estimate ways to answer this.
Precise obviously with a calculator (3/8, 3/5, 1/7), or by multiplying the denominators (bottom numbers) by a value to get them all the same. Then multiply the numerators (top number) by the same value used for the denominators. Then its easy to see.
The rough-estimate is to look at each value, and see how they relate to say half or 1 over 2.
3/8 is just under half (which is 4/8)
3/5 is just over half (2.5/5 - yes, not fractionally correct)
1/7 is a long way under half (3.5/7 - see above)
So based on estimates from small to large, 1/7; 3/8; 3/5.
Expressed as a decimal fraction, 5/16 is equal to 0.3125, 3/8 is equal to 0.375, and 1/3 is equal to 0.3 recurring (or 0.3333...). Arranged in order of size from greatest to least, these are 3/8 (0.375), 1/3 (0.3333...), 5/16 (0.3125).
1/5
2 over 3 divided by 1 over 5 is 3 1/3.
2 over 3 divided by 3 over 5 [2/3] / [3/5] is the same as 2 times 5 over 3 times 3 [2*5] / [3*3] 10/9 1 1/9 1.111... The answer is 1 and 1/9
1/5 + 3/5 = 4/5
1/4, 0.3, 1/3, 2/5, 5/9 and 0.6
1/2 < 5/8 < 3/4
1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4

1/5
2 over 3 divided by 1 over 5 is 3 1/3.
3 1/4 + 2 3/5 = 5 1/5
2 over 3 divided by 3 over 5 [2/3] / [3/5] is the same as 2 times 5 over 3 times 3 [2*5] / [3*3] 10/9 1 1/9 1.111... The answer is 1 and 1/9
1/5 + 3/5 = 4/5
1 over 3
1/3 is greater than 1/5
