The longer of the sides forming the rectangular base of the pyramid.
a pyramid and a cone are alike because they both have a flat side on the bottom and they can slide. they are different because a pyramid has 5 flat sides on the sides and 1 flat side on the bottom part. a cone can roll but a pyramid can't roll like the cone.
It has 5 faces. The "quadrilateral" part of the name describes the shape of the base of the pyramid. A pyramid has 1 face for every side of the base plus an extra one for the base. Thus a quadrilateral pyramid has a quadrilateral or 4 sided shape for the base and so has 4 + 1 = 5 faces.

It isn't a cone at all, technically or otherwise, by definition. A cone has a circular base; a pyramid, a polygonal one. In fact I think it's strictly only a pyramid if it has a quadrilateral base - anything else being a "~hedron" where the "~" part describes the number of faces, such as the Tetrahedron (4 triangular faces).

The new food pyramid was released by the U.S. department of agriculture. Exercise was added as a part of the new pyramid.
The food pyramid is designed to help you better understand what you should eat everyday. It's shape is no accident. The old food pyramid used its shape to represent the amount of each group you should include in your diet. The bottom and middle of the pyramid, the largest part of the pyramid, represents the largest part of your diet. The top and smallest part of the pyramid, represents the nutrients that should be eaten conservatively. The new food pyramid still uses a pyramid shape, but instead uses the pyramid to represent the importance of physical activity. This new pyramid depicts a person walking up stairs to the top of the pyramid, depicting regular exercise.
The final pyramid in Egypt, the Pyramid of Menkaure, was built around 2510 BC as part of the Giza pyramid complex during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom.
