Rectangle
The diagonals are perpendicular to one another. The shorter diagonal is bisected by the longer diagonal. The kite is symmetrical about the longer diagonal. The longer diagonal bisects the angles at each end of the diagonal.
A rectangle can be classified based on various criteria, including its dimensions (length and width), angle measures (all angles are right angles), and symmetry (it has two lines of symmetry). Additionally, rectangles can be categorized by their properties, such as being a square (when all sides are equal) or a golden rectangle (when the ratio of the longer side to the shorter side is the golden ratio). Rectangles can also be classified in terms of their orientation (horizontal or vertical) and their placement in the coordinate plane (e.g., centered at the origin or positioned in specific quadrants).
Parallel lines are lines that no matter how long they get will never run into each other. _______________________ ____________________________________ These are parallel lines. You can see that if you made either one of them shorter or longer, they would never meet. / and _ are not parallel lines because they would run into each other.
Shorter
Shorter.
A rectangle.
The intersection of the diagonals of a kite form 90 degree (right) angles. This means that they are perpendicular. The longer diagonal of a kite bisects the shorter one. This means that the longer diagonal cuts the shorter one in half. It is a 4 sided quadrilateral Its 4 interior angles add up to 360 degrees It has no parallel sides Its adjacent sides are equal It has 1 pair of opposite angles that are equal It has 2 diagonals that intersect each other at right angles Its perimeter is the sum of its 4 sides Its area formula is: 0.5 times product of its diagonals
The diagonals are perpendicular to one another. The shorter diagonal is bisected by the longer diagonal. The kite is symmetrical about the longer diagonal. The longer diagonal bisects the angles at each end of the diagonal.
A kite need not have any right angles. It can have no right angles (the most common type of kite); It can have 1 right angle (where the two shorter sides, or the two longer sides meet); orIt can have 2 right angles (one between the two shorter sides, and one between the two longer sides)If it has 4 right angles it degenerates into a Rhombus as all four sides must be equal in length; but this rhombus with all four angles equal (at 90°) is called a Square.

A vertical rectangle is a geometric shape with four sides, where the longer side is positioned vertically, perpendicular to the ground. It has two pairs of equal-length sides and four right angles. The opposite sides of a vertical rectangle are parallel, and the length of the longer side is typically referred to as the height, while the shorter side is known as the width.
Parallel lines are lines that no matter how long they get will never run into each other. _______________________ ____________________________________ These are parallel lines. You can see that if you made either one of them shorter or longer, they would never meet. / and _ are not parallel lines because they would run into each other.
Because if the shorter leg was shorter than the longer leg was long, then the longer leg wouldn't be longer than the shorter leg is short. The short leg would be the longer one rather than the long one being the short one.
A kite can have 1, 2 or 3 acute angles.
Its longer cuz the longer the flatter the incline plane, and on flatter planes, the object presses more than on the shorter ( steeper ones)
The length of the sides change and become longer or shorter but the angles stay the same. The enclosed area also changes.
