β 14y agoI could be wrong but I believe the following have point symmetry: I H O X That means if you cut them in half vertically or horizontally the pieces would be the same, mirror images if you will. There are many more letters that are symmetrical down a vertical line such as M and W etc.
Yes capital A has one line of symmetry or 'mirror image'
Because they are perfectly symmetrical. go ahead and draw a square then look at it in the mirror :)
When it has a line of symmetry or 'mirror image' as for example in the capital letter A
A H I M O T U V W X Y.Comment: 1) That's for capitals. It can be different for the "lower case" letters, of course.2) Also, I'm not entirely sure what the question means. The letters given above are the ones that show "mirror symmetry". Sometimes that's called "reflection symmetry".One half of the letter is like a reflection of the other about a center line called the line of symmetry.Because of this symmetry, these letters will seem unchanged when viewed in a (flat) mirror. The other letters of the alphabet will show lateral inversion when viewed in the mirror.
Some letters that look the same in the mirror are A, H, I, M, O, T, U, V, W, X, and Y. These are symmetric either horizontally or vertically, making them look the same when reflected in a mirror.
It's a "full length mirror"!
Chirality is defined as something that's asymmetric in that its mirror image is not identical, be it an image or a molecule. the capital letters N, J, F, Z, and L are all chiral in their structure.

The letters that are the same in a mirror image are A, H, I, M, O, T, U, V, W, X, and Y. These letters remain unchanged because they are symmetrical both horizontally and vertically.
MOM.
There are actually ten letters that reflect in a plane/plain mirror: A H I O T U V W X Y
mirror
"Esseker" written in a mirror would appear as "rekessE." This is not a meaningful word in English or any other common language. It is most likely a random combination of letters when written in reverse.
You were high.
The image in a plane mirror appears behind the mirror at the same distance as the object is in front of the mirror. It is laterally inverted, meaning left and right are swapped, but not vertically inverted.
A,H,I,M,N,O,T,U,V,W,X,Y, and Z * * * * * N and Z do not.
