Paper is measured in several different ways. Size is usually simply measured in inches or centimeters. 'Weight' is used to measure the thickness, as in 10 pound or 20 pound. The most common quantity is a ream, a package of 500 pages.

Millimeters.

Depends on the thickness of the paper. Measure the thickness in decimals of an inch and multiply that by 40.
What measure of units would you use to measure the thickness of a phone book
To measure the thickness of a piece of paper, you can use a micrometer or a caliper which are precise measuring instruments. Place the paper between the measuring jaws and gently close the instrument to get a reading of the paper's thickness in millimeters or inches.
It depends on the book
Take about 20 pieces of similar paper, align them together and measure their total thickness. After that, divide that thickness by 20 to get the thickness of one. Or measure just one sheet, using one of the precision instruments designed for measuring thicknesses very accurately: the micrometer or the caliper (the latter of the vernier or more commonly now, digital, type).
Folding the piece of paper does not change the thickness of the piece of paper. However, the thickness of the folded paper would be twice that of the original sheet of paper.
You cannot. gsm, or grams per square metre, are a measure of the mass of a unit area of paper (usually). There is no simple relationship between this measure and the thickness of the paper - which would be measured in microns.
You could try and draw Jeff Hardy by tracing a picture of him. In order to do this, you would need tracing paper.
This cannot be done very accurately. However, take enough sheets to make a stack sufficiently high to correspond with the length of the metre rule. Divide the number of sheets by a metre. That will give you the fraction of a metre that one sheet makes.
The thickness of 10 sheets of paper varies depending on the paper weight, but typically, it would be around 0.1 millimeters to 0.15 millimeters.
The thickness of a sheet of paper is typically around 0.004 inches, which is equivalent to 0.000333 feet.
