Area = 22/7*282 = 2464 square cm
Work it out the circumfrance of a circle is pie x the diameter!
If the circumference is 12*pi (not pie!) cm, then the diameter is 12 cm so that the radius = 6 cm. Then area = pi*r2 = 36*pi = 113.1 sq cm (approx).
you do 80 divided by 2 divided by (pie) 3.14 wich gives you the radius..and then times the radius by two..
Main Answer: To find out the area of the circle you must square the radius. Here's the answer: I took pie as 3.141592 Area = pie x radius squared A = pie x 13.25 squared --> pie x (13.25 x 13.25) A = 551.5457455 Don't forget to put the units on (e.g. mm, cm, etc) and round to whatever number of decimal places this question asks for. Extra Info: Circumference of a circle = pie x diameter Area of a circle = pie x radius squared C herry pie's d elicious --> C = pie x d A pple pie's r 2 --> A = pie x r2
about 314
Area = 22/7*282 = 2464 square cm
To find the diameter of a circle with a given area, you first need to calculate the radius using the formula for the area of a circle: A = πr^2. Given that the area is 314 cm^2, you can rearrange the formula to solve for the radius, which would be √(A/π). Plugging in the area, you get √(314/π) ≈ 10 cm. Finally, to find the diameter, you double the radius, resulting in a diameter of approximately 20 cm.
pi x radius2 = 28.26 square centimeters Rearrange the formula to find the radius: radius = the square root of (28.26 divided by pi) radius = 2.999239468 cm diameter = 2 x radius = 5.998478935 cm Therefore the diameter of the circle is 5.998478935 cm or 6 cm correct to the nearest cm.
20 pie cm^3
Work it out the circumfrance of a circle is pie x the diameter!
If 20cm is the diameter then radius is 10cm and area = Pi * r2 = Pi * 100 = 314 to the nearest square centimetre.
If the circumference is 12*pi (not pie!) cm, then the diameter is 12 cm so that the radius = 6 cm. Then area = pi*r2 = 36*pi = 113.1 sq cm (approx).
you do 80 divided by 2 divided by (pie) 3.14 wich gives you the radius..and then times the radius by two..
radius = diameter ÷ 2 area_circle = π x radius2 = π x (20 cm ÷ 2)2 = 100π cm2 ≈ 314 cm2

well the formula to find the area of a circle is Area=pie x radius squared so if i say calculate the area of a circle with the following measurements giving your answer in terms of pie. Radius=8cm Area=pie x radius squared Area=pie x 8 squared Area= 64 pie cm squared If you do this calculation on your calculator ( pie x 8 squared) you should get the same answer. I hope this helped. If you need anything else veryfying then please ask. :)
