Stocks, or anything that would rise or decrease.fdIt would represent continuous data, rather than discrete data. Continuous data would be something like height, which increases by fractional amounts, and since a line can represent any length between 5 and 6 ft. (like 5.25 or 5.379) a line is used to represent height. Number of customers would be discrete data, represented by discontinuous dots, since you can only have whole customers, and not parts of customers. Between 5 and 6 customers, there would be no line, since a line would show that there can be parts of customers between 5 and 6.
The answer depends on what characteristic of the data set you wish to represent. I suggest you use the number of observations, 7.

The demonstrate a set of data; as in for example: How many people like dogs vs. cats?Your bars would say the numbers of people who like dogs and the people who like cats, then you know your outcome!
Range subtracts the lowest value from the value in your data set. If you have an outlier, meaning a number either obviously outside the data, your range will be incorrect because one of the values will not represent the average pattern of the data. For example: if your data values include 1,2,3,4,and 17, 17 would be the outlier. The range would be 16 which is not truly representative of the rest of the data.
This graph is called the x graph.
It depends on the data and sometimes on what you are trying to show with the data. All of them are indicators of central tendency and have different uses.
dependent. because this set of numbers is dependent on what is put into the data table.
