You would divide the word cook-ie the way i did in the word cookie
Say you have two cookies in a pile. If you ADD one cookie, you are putting another cookie in the pile, so you will have three cookies. If you SUBTRACT one cookie, you are removing one of the two cookies, leaving only one in the pile.
It's a tree cookie.

The largest cookie ever made weighed 40,000 pounds and had a diameter of 102 feet. It was created in 2003 in the Netherlands.
There is no 'normal' length but if you are making them make them about 5-10cm in diameter
The appropriate collective noun would be 'An army of ants raided your cookie jar.'
The world's largest cookie was over 100 feet in diameter and contained 6,000 pounds of chocolate chips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
In 2003 a USA company, Immaculate Baking, set the current world record with a 100 foot diameter cookie. This record was officially recognised by Guinness World Records in 2008. The previous record was set in 1996, by Cookie Time, a New Zealand company, with an 81 foot (25 m) diameter, 487.15 square metres (5,243.6 sq ft) cookie.

None. You are only wishing you had a chocolate chip cookie.
I think it means you make your own destiny... (or open another cookie if that scares you, it scared me so I opened another one and it was fairly appropriate)
