transmission, engine block, then verify by the vin. there is also a sequence number across the radiator support that is the model number. (I'm dealing with the same issue.)
Gfish: Barracuda's don't have VIN # on the radiator support, but my have them on the drivers side dash, drivers side fender tag, and some may have them printed on the cowl sheet metal. Vin numbers are not on engines, or transmissions, these are date coded, build dates the same as that on the VIN are acceptable, but may vary as much as a month, or more.
