In the Mercedes-Benz S430, the positive terminal is typically located near the front of the engine bay, often near the battery or connected to a designated jump-start point. The negative terminal is usually connected to the car's chassis or engine block, providing a grounding point. Always refer to the owner's manual for precise locations and guidelines when working with the vehicle's electrical system.
Where are the jump start terminals under the hood on a 2003 e320
To jump-start a 2000 Mercedes S430 from under the hood, first, ensure both vehicles are turned off. Open the hood and locate the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals in the engine compartment; the positive terminal is often marked with a red cover. Connect the red jumper cable to the positive terminal of the dead battery and the other end to the positive terminal of the working battery. Then, connect the black jumper cable to the negative terminal of the working battery and attach the other end to a grounded metal surface on the dead vehicle to avoid sparks near the battery. Start the working vehicle and then attempt to start the Mercedes.

abs light on 2002 s430
Not sure on the S430 but on the S500 its under the plastic cover in front of the windscreen on the passenger side of the vehicle. Check if you have a large plastic removable cover at the front of the firewall, if so, its under that. Not inside the vehicle - no room behind glovebox, so resides in engine bay if its like the S500.
i don't know exactly which fuse it is but the fuses are located under the back seat and under the hood right side of the engine.
