Ma is something that you put at the end of a question in Chinese. There is nothing like it in English. It would be like saying You good ma? instead of you good. Ni hao=you good. Ni hao ma?=Are you good? I guess it's sort of like a question mark.
In a quotation question, the question mark should be inside the quotation. "Where did Mark go?" asked Zack. Anna replied, "I don't know. Where did he go?"
You put it there because it is the way English language goes. like this as an example...... What is your favortite color? Cause when you start with words like who what when where and why they're question mark questions
questions asked are always to be followed with a mark of question (?) hence if an astrix is to be placed then it has to come after the question mark. if the astrix is part of the question then it has to be placed before the question mark
I could not put in the proper symbols when I asked the question. The question should be: What does the interval [-4,3) represent?
You put an exclamation mark at the end of the sentence instead of a period... for example: You are stupid. You are stupid! it aint that hard...

Yes, you can bake in the oven instead of a steamer. You will need an ovenproof dish with a lid and a large baking tray in which to put water in.
Er ... you put the URL in your question. Why are you here at WikiAnswers instead of at the website you are asking about?
It's "put into question"
