If your international dialing prefix is 00 (the most commonly used prefix), then you're asking about country code +1 (North America = USA, Canada, etc.), area code 777 (unassigned/invalid).

If your international dialing prefix is 001, then you're asking about country code +7 (Russia and Kazakhstan), and a national number beginning with 77 (a mobile phone from Kazakhstan).

Because of the ambiguity caused by different areas using different international access prefixes, it is much less confusing to quote an international telephone number beginning with the plus symbol and the country code.

(The plus sign means "insert your international access prefix here." From a GSM mobile phone, you can enter the number in full international format, starting with the plus sign. The most common prefix is 00, but North America (USA, Canada, etc.) uses 011, Japan uses 010, Australia uses 0011, and many other countries use different prefixes.)
