Two is the only even number that is prime.

A Prime number is one divisible only by one and itself. Every even number larger than two is divisible by two; hence, it is not prime. Whilst 2 is also divisible by 2, it is not divisible by any number other than 1 and itself; thus, 2 is the only even number that is also prime.
