Well i guess you mean Isaac newton. He did alot of work into various branches of maths, and his notation for algebra and calculus is still widely used today.

Newton did it first and showed the actual usefulness of the discipline by deriving the Law of gravity from astronomical data. Leibnitz however developed a much superior notation and terminology, thus it is actually Leibnitz's calculus that we use today.
He invented calculus (Leibnitz in Germany also invented it). Newton used calculus to show that the curved path of a planet's orbit is due to the inward acceleration of the planet towards the Sun, which is exactly balanced by the inward force of gravity at every instant. This enabled him to explain Kepler's law of planetary motion in terms of the new theory of particle dynamics.
The law of sines refers to a relationship between the sides and the angles of a triangle. Consequently, it is used in trigonometry and, to a lesser extent, in geometry. It is not really relevant in calculus or statistics.
