The phrase "Whose land was it" often refers to historical disputes over territory and indigenous rights. It typically raises questions about the ownership and stewardship of land, particularly in the context of colonization and the displacement of native populations. The answer can vary significantly depending on the specific land in question and the historical context, as many regions have complex histories involving various cultures and communities. Understanding whose land it was requires acknowledging these histories and the perspectives of those who have lived there.

The land is traditionally associated with the local communities, including the people of the nearby villages like Glenridding and Thirlmere. Additionally, the land is part of the historic territory of the Cumbrian people, who have lived in the area for centuries.

Korea's land
Historically, Dokdo was Korea's land, and Japan knew it, as we can see in a Japanese traditional map. But, currently, Japan started arguing that Dokdo was Japanese land, and needs to be claimed back by Japan. But, it is actually Korea's land, and some Koreans are even living there to keep there beloved land
There is no island called Dokdo.
They have stole 75% of South Korea's land and they might take the most beautiful island's in Korea. "DokDo"
korea
no
It's east sea from Korea. There is Korean protectors in the island called dokdo and it is the island that decide whose sea it is. Historically it is Korean sea
KOREA is.First they say it's their land, but then rightfully returns it. Then, they say it's theirs yet AGAIN!!They make no sense to me. :(
it is true that the materials found in Dokdo is really useful. But the real reason why Japan wants Dokdo is because Japan gets the ocean lying beside and below Dokdo. But also, Japan is having a lot of problems, and although they are being solved, there are problems that they can't handle effectively. Now, if they get attention on the negative parts of the government, that's not good. So, they're dividing attention by creating a conflict with Korea by claiming Dokdo. That's what I heard, anyways.
