If it came stock with a 4 barrel carb and has the large harmonic balancer, it's probably a 4 bolt main.Repost with the engine number stamped on the machined flat pad on the passenger front of block just below the front of the passenger side cylinder head.

If the number 8999289 is a casting number inside a bell the first number is a 3. Then the block that is in question would be a 4 bolt block with 4 main caps.
