There are lots of flies in summer because that when they breed a bit faster. The warmer climate helps them mate and multiply.
You have to have good window screens on your doors and windows. Also immediately remove any kind of waste food food and dead animals from the house that flies can lay larvae in. Keep flies out and give them no place to eat or deliver their babies. If you have a house and yard- take food scraps outside - less any meat products - to a leaf or compost pile, Bury it beneath same and let the earthworms eventually make you some good planting soil under those leaves. LOL
