A true born again Christian believes that Chritianity is the most accurate religion ever supported by The Bible, and if you give your life to Jesus Christ, you will have eternal life in heaven, so what have you got to lose.

There are as many reasons as there are people. Some people need to believe that someone or something is in charge and protecting them contrary to a world of evidence to the contrary. For those people, a benign religious belief system is helpful. It helps to fabricate answers to the unanswerable questions that have been with us from the beginning of time. A belief in gods also brings comfort to many people who feel they can impact an impossible situation through prayer. The people who own the one house left standing in a hurricane wrecked neighborhood are compelled to believe that God singled them out for protection.
Well more Jews than christains really but heres a good chart
Christianity, the religion where people believe that God is Almighty and Jesus was the son of God.
answerAlmost all the people who are following the religions, revealed by God, believe that there is a life after death
Answer 1There is not and can never be an objective proof that the Bible is (or is not) God's revelation. Certain people believe it is God's revelation, that is their opinion, their "faith" and they tend to be very protective of their viewpoint.Other people who believe in God do not hold the Bible in such esteem and believe that the stories help one build a relationship with God but they are not "revelation". This is perhaps the more balanced view in that it recognizes that the Bible was put together by the "Council of Nicaea" (see related link below) in AD 325 during which many books of the Bible were left out - "The Apocrypha" (see related link below).Still other people follow other faiths or do not believe in God at all and to them the Bible is just another religious book.Answer 2Qur'an; Muslims God holy book; states that the Bible is God holy book revealed by God to Jesus (peace be upon him).
AnswerSome believe that the Bible, or at least parts of it, were personally dictated by God, and so is the word of God. For example, those who believe that Moses wrote the Book of Genesis are aware that Moses could not possibly have known about many of the events described in the book. Some therefore say that God told Moses exactly what to write. In other cases, some believe that the Bible was at least inspired by God, meaning that the Bible was written by people in their own words, but that what they wrote could not have contained any error.

You cannot say that a state believes or does not believe in God. A state is not a person; it does not have thoughts, beliefs, or opinions. People are the ones who believe or do not believe in God. Every state will have people of both persuasions.
People who do not believe in a god are called atheists.
People would find different reasons to inflict suffering on others.
You cannot become a God in real life! Many people do not believe in the existence of God and so, in their eyes, it is not something that anyone can become. People who do believe in a God believe that God is beyond real life and so, even for them, it is not possible for you to become one.
