You multiply them. You multiply them. You multiply them. You multiply them.
multiply them together which is 25.6*1.6 = 40.96
you can use the "foil" method. this is where you multiply the first numbers in each bracket ("f") then times the outside numbers in each bracket together ("o") then multiply the inside numbers together ("i") and then, the last numbers in each bracket ("l") you then add all of the answers together and simplify it.
24 36 12 (Enjoy the beauty of these numbers)(24/12) (36/12) (12/12) (Try to divide the other numbers by the smallest number. If that doesn't work, use the factors of that number, which are the numbers that somehow can be multiplied to make that number.)2 x 3 x 1 (Multiply the remaining numbers together)36 x 6 (Multiply that tiny number with the biggest number of your original listing)144 (Admire your number. There are many other ways, but I like this one personally.)
-- If you're not afraid of decimals and fractions, then there are an infinite number ofways to do it, like ( 9.5 x 2 ) and ( 28.5 x 2/3 ) and ( 5 x 3.8 ).-- If you only want to work with whole numbers, then there are only 2 ways to do it:( 1 x 19 ) and (-1 x -19 ).-- And the word is "two".
That's a simple case of evolution, survival of the fittest, natural selection, etc. The ways that were tried and didn't work never lasted long enough to become traditional.
You multiply them. You multiply them. You multiply them. You multiply them.
1. Find out which numbers multiply together to reach the target number, then find out which numbers multiply together to make the numbers that multiply together to reach the target number.
if your numbers arent whole numbers then multiply them out until they are whole numbers that are easier to work with.
You multiply two (or more) numbers together.
you work left to right
There are no two real numbers that do, but two complex numbers do: (3.5 + i 3.5 √23) and (3.5 - i 3.5 √23) If you want them to add to 7 and multiply to -294, then the two real numbers -14 and 21 work. Or if you want them to add to -7 and multiply to -294, then the two real numbers 14 and -21 work. To add to -7 and multiply to 294, the following two complex numbers work: (-3.5 + i 3.5 √23) and (-3.5 - i 3.5 √23)
As a product of its prime numbers: 3*7*11 = 231
Turn them into a fraction and then multiply it by 100
Multiply prime numbers or prime factors to find their product.
To multiply 14 by 16, you would first multiply the two numbers without considering the place value. So the result is 224.
If you are wanting to add odd numbers to get 399, it won't work. If you are wanting to multiply to get 399, it is 19 x 21.
