∙ 10y agoPerhaps not exactly BECAUSE you are good at math; being good at one thing doesn't necessarily mean you have to be bad at everything else. However, you must recognize that different people have different preferences, and different skills.

∙ 10y agoboth can be, it depends whether you use 'maths' to mean 'mathematics' (i.e. the subject), or maths class/lesson. you can't be good in mathematics (you should say you are good at mathematics), but you could be good in maths class/ in you maths lesson. Generally speaking, You would use: "I am good at math". "I am good in/at maths" would both be incorrect. There is no need to add the s at the end of the word "math", because math is already the general term for the different types of mathematics.
It's correct to say that a person is good AT mathematics.
Have you heard of left brain-right brain? Left-brain thinkers are (usually) good at mathematics because they are logical, rational, analytic, etc., which are aspects of math. Right brain thinkers are (usually) good at English because they are more social, linguistic, see the big picture, and are half the time religious, which are aspects of English class. Left brain is to math, like Right brain is to English. Look up MBTI on google to see your personality type. I am an INTJ - Introversion, iNtuitive, Thinking, Judgmental. It is because of this I excel in math, but I don't like English.
You HAVE to be good at mathematics to be good at chemistry, physics and engineering. It's not a handicap, it's a necessity.

I began studing English in my high shool, so I have learnt English for 12 years and I think, my English is not bad. About what is the most interesting in an English class. It is difficult to choose the most interesting in an English class but I think that, maybe it is practise speaking. The reason that you can listen to many good pronunciation speaker, example good teachers or good students. About what is the most effective way of learning English, I think that, I can read something interesting. There are so many interesting texts in English or Read a good book in English or turn on your TV and watch CNN International or another English-language channel. You will get lots of perfect sentences in excellent English

College English is an English class with higher levels of reading, writing and oral communication. The reason it's much more difficult than high school English, is that the teachers there tend to grade very hard on your writing in preparation for university(which is not really a good thing)
