An equilateral triangle has 3 sides of equal length (that's what the word equilateral means) and also 3 equal angles, all of which are 60o. A right triangle, by definition, has one right angle of 90o. So if all the angles are 60o then it is not possible to have an angle of 90o, right? Can an right angle triangle also be an equilateral?

no. an equilateral triangle is also equiangular, so the angles are 60 degrees each. a right triangle cannot be equilateral

What is an equilateral triangle obtuse triangle?

An oxymoron. An equilateral triangle cannot be obtuse; an obtuse triangle cannot be equilateral.

Can you draw an right equilatteral triangle?

No a right triangle cannot be equilateral, the hypotenuse will always be larger than the sides.

Are all right triangles equilateral triangles?

no. In fact a right angled triangle cannot be equilateral. An equilateral triangle is also equiangular: that is, all its angles are equal. The sum of all three angles of a [plane] triangle must be 180 degrees and so they cannot be 90 deg each.

Does a right-angled triangle have any equal sides?

A right-angled triangle can have equal sides, but does not have to. A right-angled triangle with two equal sides CANNOT be an equilateral triangle. A right-angled triangle cannot be an equilateral triangle.Divide a square along the diagonal, and you are left with two right-angled triangles with two sides of equal length.

Can there be a equilateral right triangle?

It is impossible for a right angled triangle to be equilateral unless it has a double triangle.

Who has more sides a right triangle or equilateral?

right triangle and equilateral triangle both have 3 sides

Can a triangle be considered an equilateral triangle and a right triangle?

No but a right angle triangle can be considered to be an isosceles triangle when its interior angles are 90, 45 and 45 degrees.

Are all right triangle and equilateral triangle similar?

No because a right angle triangle has different properties to an equilateral triangle

Can a equilateral triangle be a right triangle?

No

Is it possible to sketch a right equilateral triangle?

No. In an equilateral triangle, all three angles are the same. Since they are not ninety degrees, you can't have a right triangle that is also an equilateral triangle.

What is an inverse statement of if a triangle is an equilateral triangle?

"if a triangle is an equilateral triangle" is a conditional clause, it is not a statement. There cannot be an inverse statement.
