Ran across your question in a desperate Google search for normal length curtains. I've looked at Target, Tuesday Morning, Bed, Bath and Beyond, and Pier One. I've looked online at West Elm, Overstock.com, etc. The results are beautiful designer floor-length curtains or normal curtains in white or off-white. Seriously.
Best I can figure is that some editor at Architecture Digest has deemed normal curtains to be only suitable for paupers. HELLO, buyers for every department store: I have 4 pets. I do not wish to spend every weekend laundering my curtains. Please give us a break on the floor-length curtains!
