There are a couple of reasons this can happen. She may be ending her egg production capability. Some hens burn out quicker than others. She may be sick or have an infection in her ovary. It may be a one off accident and her next egg may be the proper size. Keep an eye on her next few eggs, if they are all tiny, treat her with a water soluble tonic to boost her vitamins and minerals.
