Oh, dude, like technically speaking, yeah, they can interchange because they both have a 15-inch rim diameter. But the 205 60R15 tire is a bit wider and shorter than the 195 65R15, so your speedometer might be slightly off, and your car might handle a bit differently. But hey, as long as they fit on your rims, you do you!
Oh, what a happy little question! It's important to make sure your tire sizes are compatible for safety reasons. While both tires have the same diameter, the 205/60R15 is slightly wider than the 195/65R15. It may fit on the same rim, but it could affect your speedometer accuracy and handling. Just make sure to check with a professional to ensure everything fits and functions perfectly!
30 percent of 205 = 61.530% of 205= 30% * 205= 0.30 * 205= 61.5
10% of 205:= 10% x 205= 0.10 x 205= 20.5
205 - 75% = 205 x (1 - (75/100)) = 205 x 0.25 = 51.25
205/1000
290-205 = 85
Yes, you can
You can but your speedometer will be off. I would use 205/60-15 instead.
Yes you can but you should not. If the OEM size is 195/65-15 and you want a wider tire then install 205/60-15. This will keep the overall diameter nearly the same. Installing 195/60-15 will cause the diameter to be smaller and will cause your speedometer to be off, and will effect handling, performance, and mileage adversely.
Yes, you can but I recommend against it. If your OEM tire was 195/60-15 and you install 195/65-15 you are installing a tire with a diameter that is 3.09% larger. This will cause your speedometer to be 2 mph slow at 60 mph. You should always stay within 3% difference of the OEM size. A much better fit is a 205/55-15 which is only 1.4% smaller in diameter. But in the end you can install it if you insist.
You can but your speedometer will read 64.17 at a true 60 mph. Your power, fuel mileage, ride, handling will also be effected. If you want to go to a 65 series tire then install 195/65-15 which is a much better choice. Your speedometer will read 62.88 at a true 60 mph with the 195 series tire. My advice is to stick with the OEM tire size your car was designed to run. No good reason to change that.
yes, but your speedometer will be off
Yes it will fit on the rim since they are 15 inch, they will fit the cavalier if it has had the 195/65R15, the 205/65R15 is a little wider than the 195/65R15. Keep in mind that the cavalier also had multiple different sizes, 195/70R14, 195/65R15 and the Z24 had the 205/55R16 applies to 1995 to 2005 cavalier models,you can also change the whole wheel assemblies even if different size as long as its from the cavalier or sunfire models, but do change all four for best results. If your cavalier has the 15 inch rims it will fit, just make sure that the tire has enough clearance to ensure that they wont rub on the inner body areas such as parts of the wheel well, putting the 205/65R15 should be ok, since the cavalier does have a pretty deep wheel well and that the Z24 has the 205 tires. Its been tried tested and true putting different wheel / tire size, as people have put the 205/55R16 Z24 wheels on a non Z24 models, and they all have the 5x100 rims, 5x referring to the numbers of bolt holes and 100 referring to the middle hole that is mounted to the hub 100 ( mm ) millimeters. 195 mm can be changed with 205 mm. by mounting on the wider tires such as 205/65R15, upgrading from the 195/65R15. ( 195 ) tread area width in millimeters. ( 65 ) side wall height in percentage ( aka ) aspect ratio. ( R ) Radial. ( 15 ) mouth of tire in inches, ( 15 inches ). Also keep tires properly inflated for best safety, fuel economy, tire wear, refer to manufacturer given information(s) / spec(s) which is found on the tire placard / sticker or the car manual. Depending on the market and options, the 2010 Mazda 3 2.5 can be specified in the following tyre sizes:195/65R15 (6Jx15 wheels)205/55R16 (6.5Jx16 wheels)205/50R17 (7Jx17 wheels)
Of course you can but the real question is should you, and the answer is no. Using a 205/65-15 your speedometer will read 63.4 at a true 60 mph. Handling, ride, braking, performance, and fuel mileage will all be effected. A 215/60-15 will work pretty well and is only .071% larger than the OEM size. But do not use a 205/65-15. My advice is to stick with the OEM size.
205/65r15
A Ford Taurus 1999
NO, it is not interchangeable with either of these sizes. The speedometer will be off over 6%. You can however install a 205/60-15 or a 185/70-15 and they will be very close to OEM. My advice is stick with the OEM size.
