So you have a Silver Quater and want to know if it will be worth anything as time goes by. Time has nothing to do with the value of coins. What makes them valuable is how many of that particular coin was minted that year. It's the amount of coins in circulation that makes a coin worth anything and of course the condition of the coin. If it's scratched it could be hundreds of years old, but not many collectors will want it scratched and even if they do, you won't get the full price of the coin unless it's in perfect condition. The best way to see if your coin is worth anything is to take it to a place that sells coins and see what they say regarding your coin.
