Is a Pulley a moving inclined plane?

No. A pulley is a simple machine in its own right.

What simple machines have no moving parts?

Inclined plane. Otherwise known as a wedge.

How does an inclined plane make work easiar?

The inclined plane lessens the amount of force you need to lift an object like the other simple machine, the pulley but moves the object in a slant motion instead of the up and down motion of the pulley,

Is a pulley a inclined plane or machine?

its a inclined plane

What is a simple machine that changes the direction of force to lift an object?

A pulley is a simple machine that changes the direction of force to lift an object. By looping a rope over a pulley, you can pull down to lift the object up.

What are the 6 types of machine?

1.inclined plane 2.pulley 3.screw 4.wedge 5.wheel & axle 6.lever

Is a pulley an inclined plane that moves?

No. A pulley is a simple machine in its own right.

What is when the pulley moves with the object?

When the pulley moves with the object, it is known as a moving pulley system. In this setup, the pulley acts as a wheel that is also being pulled along with the load, which can help to reduce friction and make it easier to lift the object. This configuration is often used in various mechanical systems to help distribute weight and facilitate movement.

What are some good questions about a pulley?

How does the number of pulleys affect the amount of force required to lift an object? What is the mechanical advantage of using a pulley system? How does friction impact the efficiency of a pulley?
