so its X/2+17= X-33 so u first get rid of the smaller X and subtract it from both sides. -X/2 -X/2 therefore you're left with 17= X/2-33 then u add 33 from both sides so you leave X alone and you're left with 50= X/2 then you divide 50 by ½ and you come up with 100. That's the answer! it looks kinda complicated but it isn't (:
