I'm assuming it's the two little lines in the middle of the circle? If so, the two colors represent the two wrestlers. Before a match, you're given a band or tie to wear around your ankle/foot that coincide with the two colors on separate hands of the ref. For every point you get, the ref will raise whatever color you are and vice versa for your opponent. They also state where you start in the match depending which color you get.
The phrase The Thin Red Line originates from the 25th of October 1854, when the Battle of Baclava happened during the Crimean War. The Thin Red Line was made as a remark to the red coated Sutherland Highlanders involved in this battle and to their reduced number.

In wrestling there is a mat and you have to stay inside the mat. If you go outside the boundaries you get moved back to your starting point. 2 wrestlers stand a few inches away from each other and there is a red and green line marking were the wrestlers will stand. Before you wrestle the referee will give you an anklet that's whether green or red and that determines where you stand. You start in a standing position. Then in the second round a coin is tossed to see who chooses the position. You can chose to be down, on top, or standing. In the third round the person who didn't choose in the second round chooses.
